Wedding Anne-Marie and Alessandro
What do you get when you bring together American, Irish, and Italian cultures all into one place for a very special union? You get wedding of Anne-Marie and Alessandro, one of the most beautiful ceremonies it was our pleasure to be a part of. Anne-Marie and Alessandro, both doctors living in the United States, chose to say “I do” in the beautiful city of Rome. This lovely Irish and Italian couple knew Rome was the perfect place to make their lifetime commitment of love in front of all of their family and friends, who traveled across to country to celebrate this special pair. From the weather to the reception and everything in between, it was a day Anne-Marie and Alessandro are sure to never forget.
The gorgeous church where the couple chose to get married was located in the heart of Rome. The ornate décor inside the church created the perfect ambiance for this summer wedding. The lovely serenades of the string duo echoed in the walls to created the most romantic atmosphere as the bridal party, groomsmen, and finally the bride, walked down the aisle. Anne-Marie was simply breathtaking. She wore a trumpet-style dress with elegant floral detail, and a floral hairpiece in her swept-up hair that held her veil. Alessandro was all smiles as his beautiful bride-to-be walked down the aisle. It was such a wonderful and love-filled ceremony. Guests were very moved as they witnessed this couple exchange their vows, and it was evident how happy the pair was that this day had finally come. When Anne-Marie and Alessandro were pronounced man and wife, the congregation cheered. It was the start of their new life together, and also the start to the night of celebration that was to come!
The Church was conveniently located near some of Rome’s best spots for photos following. Their photographer captured amazing photos of Anne-Marie and Alessandro in various locations, evening capturing the two in front of the Roman Forum. Anne-Marie used a beautiful white lace umbrella in some of the photos as well, which was such a charming touch in the photographs. The pictures turned out wonderfully, and are sure to be a very special memory for the couple. And while they were taking photos around the city, guests made their way to the villa for the reception. The weather was spectacular for the outdoor cocktail hour that followed the ceremony. Everyone there enjoyed drinks and delicious appetizers as they congregated along the terrace at the villa. They were able to soak in spectacular views as a live violinist played and the summer sun sank lower in the sky…how marvelous! It could not have been a better day to enjoy views of the city and some great company leading up to the reception.
The theme for the wedding was flowery and romantic, so every detail at the reception perfectly matched that. There were pink, orange, and white flowers in bouquets scattered around the tables. Table numbers written in gold matched the gold accent plates at the tables as well. There was so much attention to detail that Anne-Marie had that even the colors of the cake matched the accents! The whole reception was laid out wonderfully. The dinner served was delicious, and of course, the drinks to follow at the open bar were great as well!
After the couple’s first dance and the father-daughter dance, everyone was ready to dance! The DJ had everyone there up and on the dance floor almost the whole night. There was fun music and lots of dancing. The DJ even incorporated some Irish songs that guests danced too as well, which was a great touch to honor the culture of the bride and her family. Between the food, the dancing, the photo booth and the great company that came to celebrate this day, the reception was the perfect celebration for the young couples new life together. Their guests sent Alessandro and Anne-Marie off with bubbles and well wishes for a happy life filled with love. Surrounded they family and loved ones, it was the perfect ending to the perfect day.
