South African wedding villa d'Este

Wedding Gugu and Teboho

It was a beautiful September morning in Rome to celebrate the union of two special people. All the way from their home South Africa, Gugu and Teboho asked us to plan their wedding day, and we could not have been more thrilled to do so. Their ceremony took place in the town hall in Tivoli. Photo session at Villa d’Este. The rolling green gardens and the fountains throughout it created such a romantic atmosphere for the wedding. This villa has fresco painted ceilings and a Renaissance architecture, and the photos of the newly weds were truly magical. A wonderful wedding video the couple arranged captured all of this. How great!

Gugu looked stunning in her gown, with a lace v-neck line and a bow that tied in the back. The bride had her hair gently swept back into a low ponytail and had a thin sparkling headband to pull her look together. Her bouquet consistence of white and pink roses in a circle, and in the center was an absolutely gorgeous flower from her native land in South Africa. The flower was such a meaningful and special way to tie her heritage into her wedding day. Her groom looked very handsome in his navy blue tuxedo and dark red tie as a great accent. He was smiling as he watched his wife walked down the isle and continued to do so all day.

We were so happy to plan this wedding for Gugu and Teboho. Coming all the way from South Africa, there was a lot of paper work and planning to do to be sure the wedding could be held here in Rome, but our team was able to do all of it and create the wedding of their dreams. Couples like Gugu and Teboho are a perfect example of how we strive to make every couple’s wedding a day they will cherish for the rest of their lives, no matter what country they are from!
