Symbolic Wedding in historic palace

American wedding at colosseum

Wedding Anna and Nick

Anna and Nick came all the way from America to exchange nuptials in Rome, and their day was nothing short of fantastic! The fun-loving couple included so many exciting twists and turns in their celebration that showed their true personalities, and it made for such a festive wedding that the two of them are sure to remember for the rest of their lives.

In an intimate gathering of about 80 people, Anna and Nick had a symbolic wedding at a historic palace in the heart of Rome. Ornate in its design and timeless in its grandeur, it was a perfect spot to exchange vows surrounded by Italian charm and romance. Anna looked gorgeous in her strapless gown with a lace overlay, and her bridesmaids wore navy dresses with white and cream rose bouquets.

The groom and the groomsmen also looked handsome in their dark gray suits. It was a beautiful ceremony and wonderful to witness so much love between Anna and Nick. It was also great to see how the unique twist they added to the end of the ceremony- as they were pronounced husband and wife and made their way down the aisle; there was a violinist that played the Indiana Jones theme song! How amazing! The wedding felt like a scene out of a Broadway show, and really gave a magical element to Anna and Nicks’ wedding. After the ceremony was finished, their photographer captured excellent photos of the couple with very iconic spots of Rome as a backdrop, including the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. They turned out wonderfully! As those were finished it was time to begin the party, and they headed back to the venue.

The reception to follow was in the same venue, where the couple’s closest friends and family gathered to celebrate the newly weds. The room was so elegant- draped gold curtains, colorful up lighting, elaborate designs extended from the wall to the ceiling. All of it together created the perfect ambiance for their Roman wedding reception. As the celebration was underway, Anna surprised guests with performance with her friends that were “Anna and Her Flight Crew.”

After entering into the room to a choreographed dance, they pretended to be on board a pane with service to Happily Ever After. It was a comical and very charming skit that gave advice for a happy marriage, and it truly showed what a fun personality Anna had! It concluded in a wedding flash mob that had guests up and moving on the dance floor. The night continued on with dinner, desserts, drinks, and lots of dancing! You could feel the energy and excitement in the air, and it was clear all of the guests were having a great time. Anna and Nick looked beyond happy, both that their day had turned out as perfectly as it did, and that they now they were going to spend forever together.

We wanted to give a huge thank you to Anna and Nick for being such a fun and upbeat couple! You were a joy to work with and you reminded us why our job is so much fun.

Wishing you many years of love and laughter ahead. Congratulations!
